If conditions are dry and windy, don't light a fire. If there's a fire ban for most of the province, don't light a fire. If you have no way of putting out a fire, don't light a fire. This is the reason why there's a saying that common sense isn't.

Hopefully it can be contained quickly. Probably falls under the “it’ll never happen to us, what’s the worst that could happen?” train of thought.
